Andrew Jones
Andrew is the firm's Senior Partner and is a personal and family tax specialist. He heads up the Coventry tax department, managing a substantial personal tax portfolio and acting for over 800 individuals and small businesses.
He provides specialist tax advice on income tax, capital gains tax, Paye and Nic, Inland Revenue enquiries and investigations and tax-based financial planning with particular expertise in inheritance tax (IHT), estate and trust planning.
Andrew first joined Dafferns in 1977, having qualified the same year. In 1981 he moved on to the tax department of one of the national firms, before rejoining Dafferns in 1987 as a Specialist Tax Partner
in 1999.

Richard Miller
Richard specialises in advising clients in the charity and not for profit sectors, professional practices and a wide range of SMEs, with a focus on business strategy advice.
He has helped many clients tailor their accounting software and reports to their particular needs. These include Sage Line 50 and Iris Exchequer, including leading the implementation of an Iris Exchequer accounting system for a £20million turnover client of our outsourcing arm ReSource Accounting Care.
Richard qualified in 1988 with PriceWaterhouse and joined Dafferns in 1992 as a Partner. He was named as the 2007 Financial Professional of the Year in the FirstPro business awards.

Martin Gibbs
Martin is the firm's Managing Partner as well as leading the Audit and Corporate Reporting team at the Leamington Spa office. He specialises in advising the owners and directors of small and medium sized businesses, particularly UK subsidiaries of overseas groups, but also covering a wide range of manufacturing and service sectors.
He also has extensive corporate finance experience, including buying, selling and restructuring businesses, advising MBO teams and exit route planning.
An accredited Mindshop facilitator, Martin has a keen focus on providing strategic business advice.
After first joining Dafferns in 1982 and qualifying in 1988, Martin spent ten years with a leading Oxfordshire firm before returning to Dafferns as a Partner in 1999.

Brian Jukes
Brian is a corporate tax specialist and leads the Leamington tax department, and has particular experience of property tax planning, international and particularly US tax and reporting to overseas parents,
He has extensive corporate finance experience advising clients on buying, selling and restructuring businesses as well as holistic tax planning for business owners.
After qualifying with Dafferns in 1993, Brian moved to Ernst & Young in 1995 to specialise in corporate tax and then into industry as a tax specialist, responsible for the affairs of all members of a European group, reporting to a Fortune 500 listed US parent company.
Brian returned to Dafferns in 2000 and was appointed a Partner at the start of 2003.

Geoffrey Cox
Geoffrey joined Dafferns in 1995 as a graduate trainee and was appointed a partner in 2005.
He is the lead partner on most of the Coventry office's larger audit clients, with wide experience of substantial owner managed businesses and groups.
He also specialises in clients in the not for profit and public sectors as well as assisting clients with his specialist knowledge in the audit of ESF, ERDF and SFIE (Selective Finance for Investment in England) grants.
Geoffrey was a nominee in the FirstPro business awards as 2008 Financial Professional of the Year.

Jeremy Richards
Jeremy qualified in 2000 before moving to Grant Thornton and joining Dafferns in 2002. He was appointed a partner in 2006.
Working from both Leamington and Coventry offices, he deals with a growing portfolio of clients, ranging from small owner managed businesses to substantial subsidiaries of overseas parent companies. He also heads up the small business accounts team in Leamington and advises on new business start ups, cash flow forecasts and business plans.
Jeremy also specialises in providing bespoke management accounts services to clients of both Dafferns and ReSource Accounting Care.

Brian King
Brian King joined Dafferns on 1 June 2009 from a prominent North Oxfordshire firm, where he spent 17 years, rising to become tax partner, specialising in all areas of tax planning.
Brian will be working initially in the firm's Leamington Spa office alongside fellow specialist tax partner Brian Jukes,
With three of the firm’s seven partners focussing full time on tax planning, Dafferns continues to have a huge amount of in house expertise in all aspects of corporate and personal tax planning, including access to some highly sophisticated tax planning schemes.
Brian has considerable experience in all aspects of tax planning, particularly specialising in advising clients who want to protect their wealth and pass on assets to the next generation in a tax-efficient manner.
A chartered accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Tax, Brian is married with three children and Coventry born and bred. A keen Coventry City supporter, he has been a season ticket holder for 25 years.
